दैवीय प्रेम कोई आकर्षण नहीं होता बल्कि समर्पण की वो अवस्था है जहाँ “पाने” की कोई इच्छा शेष नहीं रहती जिसे मिलते ही जीवन अपने आप पूर्ण हो जाए जहाँ किसी शर्त, किसी अपेक्षा किसी अधिकार की भाषा ही शेष न बचे -- वही प्रेम दैवीय होता है -- दैवीय प्रेम मे हाथ थामना आवश्यक नही -- निकटता का प्रदर्शन भी आवश्यक नही बल्कि यहाँ तो अनुपस्थिति भी एक पूर्ण उपस्थिति बन जाती है!- ____ ये वो प्रेम है जहाँ आत्मा आत्मा को पहचान लेती है बिना परिचय, बिना स्पर्श,बिना ये पूछे कि “तुम मेरे क्या हो?” दै
गाँव के बाहर एक पुराना बरगद था,जहाँ लोग अक्सर जीवन की उलझनों पर बात करने आते थे।वहीं एक दिन एक युवक बैठा था—मन में बेचैनी, आँखों में भ्रम। वृद्ध साधक ने उसे देखा और कहा,“तुम्हारी उलझन प्रेम की नहीं,इच्छा की है।” युवक चुप रहा। साधक बोले—“यदि कभी किसी स्त्री की देह चाहिए हो,तो साहस रखो और सच्चे रहो।बिना लाग-लपेट के,विनम्रता से अपनी बात कहो।यदि वह स्वीकार करे,तो उसे अनुग्रह समझो।और यदि अस्वीकार करे,तो उसकी इच्छा का सम्मान करवहीं से लौट जाओ—जहाँ से आए थे।” फिर उन्होंने ठहरकर कहा—
"ओवरथिंकर" जैसे लोग हर शब्द बोलने से पहले दर्ज़नों अर्थों में उसे तोड़ते-जोड़ते है-- हर ख़ामोशी को अपराध मानकर ख़ुद से पूछताछ करते है-- ओवरथिंकर प्रेम में इसलिए गहरे उतरते है क्युँकि उन्हें पता होता है- अनकहा क्या चोट पहुँचा सकता है- वे अपने भीतर ही हज़ारों संवाद कर लेते है ताकि सामने वाला एक भी असहज पल से न गुज़रे!- _____ वे प्राथमिकता देते है पर दिखावे में नही बल्कि अपने हिस्से की नींद अपनी शांति अपने प्रश्न सब चुपचाप स्थगित कर देते है-- ओवरथिंकर पहले ख़ुद को समझाते हैं-- “
